That changes when he accidentally overhears a conversation. Now Nivvo finds himself up to his neck in trouble. He has only one night to find the rightful heir. Q & A:

The best thing about writing this book?
Spending so much time with my imaginary friends…and on a more serious note, the real friends I made when I’d finally gathered the nerve to ask for feedback on a writers’ website.

Where did you get your idea for this story?
I’ve always had a soft spot for an idealized version of the mafia, the honor-among-thieves kind. And I wanted to write a fantasy book with no magic, mythical creatures or deus-ex-machina solutions. The story is a combination of both.

What would you tell aspiring writers out there?
Do it!

What is your favorite book?
The Lies of Locke Lamora, by Scott Lynch

Coffee, Tea, or Hot Chocolate?
Coffee!

I want to thank Angelika Rust for allowing me to promote her book on my blog. I hope this post has inspired you to go out and read Ratpaths!
