Book Promotion: Civilised Blood by Tom Phelps and John Gallagher

Today’s book promotion comes from Tom Phelps and John Gallagher and their book called Civilised Blood. If you like political thrillers, take a look below. You might just find another book for your “to read” pile!

Book: Civilised Blood
Authors: Tom Phelps and John Gallagher
Faction/Political Thriller/Courtroom Drama

Publisher: CreateSpace
Format: Hardback and Kindle
Released: August 2013

Summary: This political thriller appears to expose a plot by the British Government to kill cheap-energy technologies and inadvertently stopping the oil spilt by BP in the Gulf of Mexico. The detail in a court case is so compelling that readers will have to make up their own minds if it is real. The plot to overthrow unelected officials in the EU by using social media to plan a revolution almost seems a side story to the scandal of lost low cost energy and the damage to BP and Louisiana. Only the USA comes out of this well, with Great Britain looking anything but Great. Lead characters are from England, Germany, Ireland, Greece and France with a USA General coming to the rescue right at the end. If any of the facts prove to be true then BP will sue the UK for billions as will some Gulf States. The rest of us will mourn the loss of low cost energy.

Q & A with John Gallagher:

The best thing about writing this book?
The best thing about writing this book was the hope that the facts in the book would finally get out there. Otherwise they will be suppressed.

Where did you get your idea for this story?
The story is based in research and some terrible facts that have been uncovered.

What would you tell aspiring writers out there?
E-Books allow anyone to get a message across but make the story a good book first.

What is your favorite book?
My favourite book is Tale of Two Cities.

Coffee, Tea, or Hot Chocolate?

Any other comments that you would like to share?
Never give up hope however dark the day gets.

I want to thank Tom Phelps and John Gallagher for allowing me to promote their book on my blog. I hope this post has inspired you to go out and read Civilised Blood!
